Board Ballot 2026

Canidate Information

Bob Cash
Men’s Walk 70, Table of John. When asked why he would like to serve on the board,
Bob said, “I am running for the board because I have a passion for our Emmaus ministry and I
would like to serve our community in whatever capacity our Emmaus family may need. My
desire is to see this community grow and flourish, and to do so requires people who are
dedicated to continuing the cause of Christ in making disciples of the body of Christ.”

Matt Edwards
Men’s Walk 183, Table of Paul. When asked why he would like to serve on the
board, Matt said, “I would like to serve on the board to continue my service within the Emmaus
community. I feel led by God to do more than just serve the pilgrims and caterpillars. I believe
that being together with other board members and the rest of the community that the sky’s the
limit, and together we can do great things.”

Gary Floyd
Men’s Walk 32, Table of Luke. When asked why he would like to serve on the board, Gary said, “ I want to run for the Emmaus Board to give back to an organization that has meant so much to me. God has used this tool to change my life and I want to continue to serve
the Golden Triangle Emmaus Community.”

Jeff Kirbow
Men’s Walk 96, Table of Moses. When asked why he would like to serve on the board, Jeff said, “I have a servant’s heart. I currently serve on the Kirbyville Housing Authority board of commissioners. I am also a board member of the Nederland B.A. Ritter Senior Citizens Center where I currently volunteer Monday through Friday. In the past, I volunteered at a food and clothing ministry in Kirbyville (Kirbyville Christian Outreach). I’ve recently served on the kitchen crew on two Emmaus men’s walks and will be serving as an assistant table leader on the upcoming men’s walk. I’m an active member in my church with different ministries and small groups. I enjoy serving others and get a lot of fulfillment out of it.”

Terry LeBlanc
Men’s Walk 184, Table of Luke. When asked why he would like to serve on the board, Terry said, “I’m a retired Emergency Response Coordinator of 41 years. I retired from being a Boy Scout Leader of 42 years. I serve my Church as the Director of Men’s Ministries, The Board of Directors, Lead of the Men of the Hour (a group of retired men doing odd jobs around the church), a Small Group Leader, Ministry Team, Intercessors Team and several other responsibilities within the church. I heard my dad once say, ‘If you want something done, find someone that’s busy.’ I’ve been busy most of my life. Let me know if I can help.”

Thank you for your votes! We will notify the community shortly of the results.
